Design Brief
Space to entertain and retreat
Our client requested the following features:
- Modern Design.
- Maximise the view from every bedroom.
- Parent’s retreat.
- Multiple entertainment spaces on each floor.
- Full ensuite bathroom in each bedroom.
- Home automation and security.
External Design Inspiration
Like a beautiful pearl emerges from its shell, our designed was inspired to reflect the magnificence visually delicacy and robustness of pearls.
To achieve these results we used globally sought after materials that are locally source such as white stone from the hills of Hebron and rare beirzet bluestone. We were able to combine these materials to create prominent lines and visual features to create a visually delicate yet magnificent piece of 3D art.
The final external design invites spectators to wonder what beauties are contained within the shell.
Internal Design Inspiration
The layout of the home was informed by the clients’ desire for panoramic outdoor views.
The ground floor is predominantly designed for entertaining and made up of several unique spaces to allows the owners to entertain both large and small groups.
The first and second floors are each divided into public and private spaces. The private space a concealed through the design to allow the owners to move freely in the private space even when they have guests.
Internal access between the floors in the private areas allows the owners to move freely around the villa unnoticed and with absolute freedom.
The third, rooftop, floor is reserved for the owners as their sanctuary. It offers an exceptionally large bedroom with a walk-in robe and large ensuite. The bedroom opens up to huge private court. The master bedroom is very light and airy.
Every bedroom was designed to allow in plenty of light and to include built in robes and an ensuite.
Each floor was designed to be a standalone residence in its own right. This will give the owners options to relocate if they need to move to any of the lower floor should that have limited mobility in the later stages of their lives of if they wish to offer certain floors of their villa to their children.
